Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Quality Inspector (Falcon) to perform in-process inspections of electrical and mechanical propulsion assemblies, verify conformance to drawings, and document non-conformances. The role requires experience in aerospace or manufacturing, familiarity with MRB and corrective actions, and adherence to OSHA safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of inspection experience in aerospace, aviation, military or manufacturing.
• Degree in a technical or engineering field.
• Experience with propulsion assembly, installation and testing.
• Experience with MRB and root cause/corrective action systems.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities.
• Experience with electronic testing and inspections using portable measuring devices.
• Knowledge of safety programs and OSHA requirements.
• Experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed in-process inspections on electrical and mechanical assemblies using drawings and CAD models.
• Identify, document, and resolve production and test anomalies and pursue corrective action.
• Communicate and help resolve quality issues related to propulsion assembly.
• Document production non-conformances per procedures and processes.
• Support quality management system policies and continual improvement initiatives.
