Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a certified NDT Ultrasonic Level II Inspector (Immersion) to perform immersion ultrasonic inspections on aerospace components. You will setup, calibrate, and operate immersion UT equipment, select techniques, and evaluate results for conformance.

The role requires NAS 410 Level II certification, 1+ year immersion UT experience, and strong understanding of ultrasonic theory and data interpretation. Competitive hourly pay and safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold NAS 410 Level II (or equivalent) certification with immersion UT proficiency.
• At least 1 year of hands-on UT immersion inspections on aerospace components.
• Strong understanding of ultrasonic theory, transducers, and data interpretation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and procedures related to NDT.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations, immersion ultrasonic inspections, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection of aerospace components.
• Set up, verify, and maintain immersion ultrasonic systems and transducers for accuracy and repeatability.
• Interpret and document test results, recording inspection data and equipment settings per QA requirements.
• Collaborate within an inspection cell with peers to ensure efficient workflow and quality.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and uphold Element’s safety culture.
