Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a certified NDT Ultrasonic Level II Inspector (Immersion) to perform immersion ultrasonic inspections on aerospace components in accordance with applicable specifications, procedures, and customer requirements.

The Level II Inspector will handle setup, calibration, and operation of immersion ultrasonic equipment, select techniques, and interpret results to determine conformance and detect discontinuities, within a team-focused environment and in compliance

Qualifications

• Must hold NAS 410 Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for immersion inspections.
• Minimum of 1 year hands-on UT immersion experience on aerospace components.
• Strong understanding of ultrasonic theory, transducers, and data interpretation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and procedures related to NDT inspections.
• Proficient in inspection documentation and traceability systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations, immersion ultrasonic inspections, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection.
• Set up, verify, and maintain immersion ultrasonic systems and transducers.
• Interpret and document test results with inspection data and equipment settings.
• Collaborate with the inspection cell team to ensure efficient part flow, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and promote Element's safety culture.
