Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking an Elbow Bend Trainee to join our team. This position focuses on the fabrication, shaping, bending, and assembly of metal tubing for aircraft applications.

The role requires the ability to perform essential duties with accuracy and safety. Essential duties include marking lines, operating benders, cutting and deburring tubes, aligning parts, and verifying specifications.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto workpiece.
• Sets up and operates benders.
• Cuts, deburrs, and sizes bent tubes to verify conformity using fixtures or mylars as needed.
• Positions, aligns, and fits parts together.
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications.
• Fabricates and assembles tubing metal products.
• Regularly required to stand and perform tasks; may lift up to 25 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
