Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking an Elbow Bend Trainee to join our team. The role focuses on fabrication, shaping, bending, and assembling metal tubing for aircraft applications, with instruction and supervision as needed.

Ideal candidates have a one-year college or technical school certificate or 3–6 months related experience, and basic physical capability to stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and work safely in a manufacturing setting. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Education: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark bending and cutting lines on workpiece.
• Set up and operate benders.
• Cut, deburr, and size bent tubes to verify conformity using fixtures or mylars.
• Position, align, and fit parts together.
• Verify conformance of workpiece to specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble tubing metal products.
