Job summary

Figeac Aero North America, Inc is hiring a Touch Up Painter for the 2nd shift in Wichita, KS. This full-time, hourly role offers pay between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour plus a $0.75 per hour shift differential.

Work includes priming/top coat touchups to Mil specs, masking, prep, and accurate workflow documentation while following safety procedures. Benefits are included for qualified employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• 1+ year experience with primer, fuel cell and top coat preferred.
• Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and be attentive to details in all tasks.
• Touch up primers and top coats to Mil specs on multiple surface types.
• Mask and de-mask parts as required.
• Prep parts before painting including masking, sanding, and cleaning.
• Maintain thorough workflow documentation of tasks performed.
• Inspect results of paint applications and ensure quality.
