Job summary

AAR Corp in Sanford, FL is seeking a Tools and Parts Attendant to manage storage and issuance of aircraft tools, free stock and materials. You will maintain tool room organization and ensure tools are serviceable before issue, while supporting calibration and repair tracking.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years in tools/parts or related trades, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a global maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience as a Tools and Parts Attendant or 2 years in the machine, sheet metal or woodworking trades.
• Ability to read and comprehend Level II English.
• U.S. Department of State MRPT clearance required.
• Must possess computer skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of heavy maintenance tooling and familiarity with aircraft tooling and parts.

Responsibilities

• Control and issuance of aircraft tools, general purpose tools, test equipment, free stock and materials.
• Perform daily tooling audits in a timely manner (as assigned).
• Verify tools and equipment are complete and in serviceable condition before issue.
• Ensure caps/plugs are in place when locating tools.
• Verify calibrated tools have legible stickers and valid service dates.
• Maintain tools and materials in designated locations for easy access.
