Job summary

Advanced Integration Technology, LP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team of design engineers creating large-scale automated aerospace assembly systems. You will design tooling, lead drawing releases, and coordinate with suppliers to meet stringent requirements.

You will work with CATIA and NX in a fast-paced environment, perform sizing, and support NPI through production. A BS in mechanical engineering and 3+ years in heavy machinery or aerospace tooling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in heavy machine design or aerospace tooling/automation.
• Manufacturing and machine shop background preferred.
• Experience with CATIA V5, NX or equivalent tools.
• FEA software experience (Ansys or Femap) preferred.
• Must be able to obtain/hold a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design tools and automation equipment for aircraft and precision manufacturing.
• Provide support for new product introductions to manufacturing.
• Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings per requirements.
• Follow design procedures and complete required documentation.
• Engage with suppliers and internal teams to resolve engineering problems.
• Ensure changes, DCNs, and as-built information are reflected on drawings.
• Support stress analysis input and component sizing.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and ITAR requirements.
