Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Tool & Gauge Technician to lead asset management and tool control for calibrated instruments at Arsenal-1 near Columbus, Ohio. You will maintain the calibration registry, ensure traceability, and support AS9100 and DCMA surveillance with audit-ready records.

The role also coordinates with calibration vendors and acts as the site POC for tooling and asset documentation, requiring tool crib experience, gauges familiarity, and strong attention to detail and communication.

Qualifications

• Tool crib/asset management experience in aerospace/defense preferred.
• Experience with AS9100 and DCMA oversight is a plus.
• Basic training in tool control and work order release methods.
• Familiarity with tools, gauges, and consumables in inventory systems.
• 6–12 months of tool control/tool crib experience.
• Ability to track calibrated instruments in a registry with external calibration vendor coordination.
• Vendor management experience across procurement systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Ability to read engineering specs and correct tool requests before purchase.
• Proficient with MS Office; strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own asset management and tool control records for all calibrated instruments on site.
• Maintain objective evidence for calibration and inventory compliance artifacts.
• Support DCMA surveillance with audit-ready tooling and asset records.
• Own and govern the site's tool control procedure, including replacement and tagging.
• Serve as named asset management POC for readiness assessments and calibration artifacts.
