Qualifications

• 3-5 years of direct experience setting up and operating equipment, preferably in fastener production.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience working to close tolerances.
• Proficient in inspection with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate drills, lathes, grinders and milling machines to perform turning, knurling, drilling, tapping, reaming, counter-boring, and deep drilling operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment.
• Inspecting finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and regulate coolant flow.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions or setup issues and implement corrective actions.
