Job summary

Advanced Integration Technology (AIT) is seeking a tool assembler to support its evening/night Assembly department. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, assembling components with hand and power tools, and ensuring conformance to specifications.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience, with potential government security clearance considerations. Overtime and travel may be required in this position.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and follows job orders and procedures.
• Follows safety rules and uses hand/power tools to assemble components.
• Inspects assemblies for conformance and reports defects to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow advanced job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions and procedures.
• Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications using hand/power tools or bench machines.
• Inspect, test, and verify accuracy of assembled article for conformance to standards.
• Rotate through multiple stations to maintain alertness and preparedness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
