Job summary

CPP Corporation in Albany, OR is seeking a Sandblaster for the Aerospace Titanium Manufacturing division on the swing shift. You will surface prep titanium castings using coarse sand and compressed air, and move parts to different areas of the facility while maintaining paperwork.

The job is full-time, with benefits such as quarterly bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and company-paid life insurance. U.S. person status is required and safety gear is provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; candidates without but with relevant experience may be considered.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Baseline hearing test required prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblast machine to clean material surface.
• Move titanium castings to various areas of the facility.
• Process parts out of a dryer after chem milling.
• Handle paperwork to ensure documentation is complete and correct.
• Mask castings as directed by the Dimensional Inspection department.
• Assist with general departmental cleanup and safety practices.
• Inventory supply items.
• Other duties as assigned.
