Job summary

CPP Corporation in Albany, OR is seeking a Metal Finisher I to remove imperfections from titanium castings using grinding tools. The role offers quarterly bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), company paid life insurance, and other benefits.

You will operate grinders, inspect parts, measure tolerances, and maintain paperwork while keeping a clean, safe workstation. Overtime is available as needed on swing/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED; candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written instructions and maintain quality standards.
• Ability to work in a team and keep accurate paperwork with castings.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate a pneumatic hand grinder to remove imperfections from metal castings.
• Inspect work using measuring tools to ensure requirements are met.
• Operate a belt grinding machine to surface grind and blend welds on castings.
• Measure parts and visually inspect castings for defects and mark in appropriate manner.
• Ensure appropriate paperwork remains with castings before and after process.
• Maintain workstation in a clean and safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
