Barnes Aerospace is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for our MRO division. The role focuses on welding aircraft components with thin material and improving processes to support cost reduction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of TIG welding experience in aerospace, can read operation sheets, and work with basic measurements. This is a safety sensitive position with hours 6:00 am–6:00 pm, Fri–Sun.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of TIG welding experience in a production or repair shop, preferably Aerospace.
• Experience welding exotic metals.
• Ability to read operation sheets and follow complex instructions.
• Able to use advanced math to calculate and work with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• English communication with team and supervision.
• Lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Weld aircraft components in thickness range .015–.120 inches.
• Read from part drawings, sketches, templates, and patterns.
• Work is subject to process and final inspection and testing.
• Complete paperwork to track parts through process.
• Perform repetitive welding operations on standard weldments.
• Perform other duties as required.
