Job summary

Barnes Aerospace CRO division is seeking a TIG Welder in West Chester, PA. The role focuses on welding thin aerospace components, reading part drawings, and adhering to inspection and documentation requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years TIG welding experience, especially with exotic metals, and can read operation sheets, perform precise math, and communicate in English. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and have unrestricted work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years TIG welding in production/repair, aerospace preferred.
• Experience welding exotic metals.
• Able to read/interpret operation sheets and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Weld aircraft components from 0.015 to 0.120 inch thickness.
• Work from drawings, sketches, templates, patterns.
• Complete paperwork to track parts through process.
• Perform repetitive welding on standard weldments per prescribed procedures.
• Work subject to process verification and final inspection/testing.
• Perform other duties as required.
