Job summary

Seeking a Certified Welder for 3rd shift in Arizona. This safety-sensitive role requires an eye exam, FAA DT, and a manual weld test; training on the 2nd shift for a few weeks.

Must have 8+ years welding experience, AWS D17.1 certification, and ability to read drawings and weld symbols. Responsibilities include setting up and operating manual and automatic welding systems, inspecting welds, and collaborating with Engineering to resolve weld issues.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years welding experience or equivalent.
• AWS D17.1 certification ability.
• Read and understand drawings, weld symbols & quality requirements.
• Manual dexterity and basic math skills.
• Read blueprints and understand machine shop math.
• Good English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and automatic welding systems per instructions.
• Position fixtures and adjust processes to meet conformance standards.
• Read product drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and ensure safety rules.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced welders.
