Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with thermal spray and APS in aerospace/industrial gas turbine contexts.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on manufacturing process development and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify APS and thermal spray processes.
• Create robotic spray programs, tooling, and fixtures with precise parameters.
• Support FANUC robotic coating systems and optimize equipment.
• Diagnose coating/manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead new product introductions with process qualification for production.
• Improve throughput, quality, yield, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, Design, and Operations.
• Write procedures, specs, engineering reports, and work instructions.
• Contribute to dimensional inspection via CMM, laser, and white-light methods.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
