Job summary

ThermAvant Technologies, LLC in Columbia, Missouri, is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead key product development (PD) and recurring production run (PR) programs. This role focuses on OHP-based thermal management solutions for terrestrial and aerospace applications.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, and customers to gather requirements, develop build plans, perform risk assessments, and manage schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a technical field.
• Minimum five years work experience as a program/project manager.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of PDM and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Lead PD and recurring PR programs with key customers.
• Review contracts/purchase orders with senior management, engineering and production teams.
• Gather product and technical requirements from Customer.
• Present prototype results to transition into recurring production orders.
• Develop build plans and perform risk assessments for hardware production.
• Maintain schedule and updated Gantt charts; adjust dates as needed.
• Communicate capabilities and limitations to customers.
• Support ERP/PDM integration and continuous process improvements.
• Lead customer communications in triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Track spend relative to budget and address scope creep.
