Job summary

RTX invites students to join its internship program in Uniontown, OH, for hands-on experience in designing and fabricating electrical and mechanical test fixtures, prototypes, and associated test artifacts. You will work in a collaborative engineering environment under experienced professionals, applying MATLAB, LabVIEW, and CAD tools to real-world aerospace challenges.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, and CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor.

Responsibilities

Support design and fabrication of electrical and/or mechanical test fixtures.
Develop test artifacts including test plans, procedures, reports, and manuals.
Build and fabricate product prototypes and hardware.
Utilize laboratory/test equipment including universal testers, environmental chambers, vibration table, ovens, icing wind tunnel.
Work as part of an integrated team and receive guidance from engineers and technicians.
