RTX offers aerospace internships/co-ops with a path to full-time roles. This requisition is for an RTX intern converting to FT hire after graduation, onsite in East Hartford, with the Engineering Development Program and rotations to build breadth and depth in engine systems and validation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Science & Technology obtained by start date.
• Experience in a mechanical / aero test environment or engine data analysis.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Aufgaben

• Provide engineering support for development engine tests and functional validation across the P&W product lines, with focus on engine systems understanding.
• Coordinate test and analysis plans, instrumentation requirements, pre-test predictions, test procedures, on-site/remote coverage, data management and validation, and post-test reporting for propulsion systems tests.
• Participate in discipline improvement activities and knowledge management.
• Travel, off-shift and weekend work as needed; some travel to engine test sites and partner sites.
