Job summary

Moog is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the Engineering Lab in Mineral Wells, TX, onsite. You will perform tests, assemble test setups, collect data, and assist engineers with product development activities for aerospace and avionics programs.

The role includes potential aircraft installation support, documentation updates, and equipment maintenance. Must have an Associate degree or equivalent, hands-on skills, and the ability to lift 40-50 lbs; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering technology.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or avionics principles.
• Ability to use hand tools, measurement devices, and basic test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn aerospace testing standards.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks with tools and setups.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, able to work with teams.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Willingness to grow into more advanced test and certification duties over time.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Lab Support: perform routine tests, measurements, and evaluations.
• Aircraft Installation Support: assist in installing equipment and sensors on aircraft.
• Data Collection & Documentation: record results and update test artifacts.
• Equipment & Lab Maintenance: operate and troubleshoot lab gear; track calibration.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: work with engineers to improve tests and fixtures.
