Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is seeking a Test Technician to join a hands‑on team focused on testing launch vehicles, spacecraft, and support systems at the launch pad. You will contribute to manufacturing, assembly, and validation of flight hardware, ensuring safe, repeatable spaceflight.

The role requires 3+ years in aerospace/manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work across engineering teams. Frequent travel and lifting up to 50 lb are involved.

Qualifications

• Self-starting with ability to adapt in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in testing and assembly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee testing of flight and ground support hardware (hydraulic, pneumatic, proof, leak, electrical).
• Develop and refine test procedures with engineering for various conditions and setups.
• Assist design/ fabrication of test fixtures, stands, and equipment to meet specs.
