Textron Systems in the United States is seeking a Test Engineer II/III to plan, coordinate, and execute component- to system-level tests for a major US Air Force program. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, support data acquisition, analysis, and reporting, and travel 10–15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years experience for Level II or 5+ years for Level III.
• Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing system-level tests for defense or aerospace programs.
• Familiarity with electrical/mechanical test instrumentation and data collection systems.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Government Security Clearance; Active Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and schedule test and evaluation activities to meet requirements and standards.
• Prepare and/or review test plans, procedures, readiness reviews, and test reports for functional, environmental, and field tests.
• Support in-house and field data collection including setup of data acquisition systems and test instrumentation.
• Support test activities including installation, integration, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Perform preliminary “quick look” analysis and provide post-test debriefs to engineering and customers.
• Coordinate with program, engineering, and external organizations during planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and maintain good organizational skills.
• 10 - 15% Travel.
