Textron Aviation in Washington Monroe is seeking a Test Engineer to support testing of hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems, including automated tests and data acquisition for actuation components.

Responsibilities include setting up and running tests, troubleshooting test systems, developing test automation software, and supporting lab testing such as vibration, altitude, and icing. Strong collaboration and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Engineering experience or aviation technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up & running automated tests for electro-mechanical & hydraulic actuation components.
• Troubleshooting test systems and maintaining data acquisition equipment.
• Developing software for test automation and data acquisition.
• Supporting outside lab testing such as vibration, altitude, humidity, icing, etc.
• Designing and assembling data acquisition and control systems.
