Job summary

A consulting firm is seeking an Aerospace Test Engineer for a 6-12+ month contract in Kent, WA. The ideal candidate should have a B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and at least 1 year of experience in component testing and data analysis. Responsibilities may include working with high-pressure gas systems and knowledge of fluid components. This position offers a standard Monday to Friday shift, with potential for extension or conversion to full-time.

Qualifications

  • Exposure to operation, testing, or production of high-pressure gas, cryogenic, actuated, and/or hydraulic systems.
  • Applicable industry experience in launch vehicles, satellites, aircraft, motorsports, oil & gas.

Job description

We are seeking an Aerospace Test Engineer for a 6-12+ month contract in Kent, WA with a high possibility of extending or converting to an FTE.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm

Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or other relevant field.
  • 1+ years of experience in component testing and data analysis.
  • Exposure to operation, testing, or production of high-pressure gas, cryogenic, actuated, and/or hydraulic system
Desired:
  • Applicable industry experience (launch vehicles, satellites, aircraft, motorsports, oil & gas).
  • Knowledge of fluid components such as valves, regulators, actuators, servo-valves, and fittings.
  • Experience with sensors and instrumentation (pressure transducers, accelerometers, etc.), data acquisition, and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with precision clean hardware and systems.
  • Experience with thermal and vibration testing.
  • Experience with design & fabrication of test fixturing and tooling.
