Job Overview
Join a dynamic team building launch vehicles, spacecraft, and launch systems. You’ll work on manufacturing, assembly, and testing of aerospace hardware while ensuring safety, precision, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components
- Drill precision holes and install tolerance fasteners
- Work from engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions
- Collaborate with engineers to review designs and support testing
- Plan and execute complex mechanical installations
- Safely handle hazardous systems and high-pressure equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure procedural compliance
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5+ years in precision assembly or aerospace hardware integration
- Proficiency in drilling, close-tolerance fasteners, and structural assembly
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints
- Skilled with standard tools, fabrication equipment, and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, refugee, or asylee
- Physically able to climb, work in restricted areas, and lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years aerospace or launch vehicle integration experience
- A&P license or equivalent propulsion system assembly experience
- Familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, heavy-lift equipment, and 3D measurement tools
- Knowledge of rocket propellants and CAD tools (CREO preferred)
