Job summary

Calhoun Community College invites applications for a faculty position to provide competent classroom and laboratory instruction in aerospace, manufacturing technology, and related fields. Instruction occurs day, evening, and weekend across Decatur, Huntsville/Research Park, and other sites including hybrid and web formats.

Salary is placement on ACCS Salary Schedule D1: $43,792 - $98,138 (9 months) with potential summer assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications listed in vacancy notice must be met.
• Experience in blueprint reading and GD&T is required.
• Industrial maintenance and related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent classroom and laboratory instruction in credentialed area.
• Teach at varied times and formats (day/evening, on/off campus, hybrid or web).
• Evaluate student progress using multiple criteria.
• Maintain and submit accurate class records including grades and attendance.
• Develop course syllabi, outlines and catalog material as needed.
• Engage in in-service activities and provide student advising.
