Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking a Technician - ISC - Level 2 in Torrance, CA to operate production equipment and interpret aerospace blueprints with GD&T. This 8-month contract requires a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities include balancing aerospace parts, setting up equipment, and documenting production results. U.S. person status per ITAR is required, with opportunities for extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related production or manufacturing experience.
• U.S. Person required per ITAR.
• Able to read and interpret aerospace blueprints including GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment for manufacturing and assembly of products.
• Follows blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Performs balancing operations on complex aerospace parts.
• Uses precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspects finished products for conformance to specifications.
