The selected candidate will perform the day-to-day operations of the Ground Support Technical Operations (GSTO) group supporting NASA's Artemis program. The candidate will support launch vehicle processing, testing, and validation of flight and ground systems. A mechanical and/or electrical background in aviation or aerospace fields is highly desirable. Must be able to follow work instructions, interpret engineer drawings, and adhere to strict work area rules and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills are required. Some experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is necessary. Must be able to pass a SCAPE physical and maintain a security clearance. Support shift work, weekends, and reasonable overtime as required.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, technical training in the relevant area, and at least eight years of related experience, including experience leading other technicians. Depending on the candidate’s experience, requirements, and business needs, we may consider candidates at any level for this position.
