Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Sourcer to build and own pipelines for highly specialized engineering roles in a fast-growing aerospace startup.

You will lead multi-channel sourcing, identify hard-to-find talent, and partner with recruiters and leaders to ensure timely fills. You will rapidly learn aerospace domains, craft credible outreach, and maintain high-quality candidate experiences across the top of the funnel in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience in technical roles.
• Proven track record sourcing hard-to-fill, specialized technical talent in a competitive market
• "Expert-level proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and x-ray search"
• "Experience partnering with technical hiring managers and running intake and calibration"
• "Ability to learn complex technical domains and translate them into effective outreach"

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust pipelines of qualified passive and active candidates for technical and engineering roles across Apex.
• Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and x-ray search, GitHub, technical communities, referrals, events, and niche aerospace networks).
• Identify and engage hard-to-find talent in specialized domains such as spacecraft systems, avionics, propulsion, GNC, structures, thermal, and flight software.
• Meet weekly sourcing targets for qualified candidates surfaced, outreach sent, and screens scheduled to keep priority requisitions fully covered.
• Craft compelling, personalized outreach that articulates the Apex mission and converts passive candidates into engaged applicants.
• Conduct initial outreach and pre-screens to assess technical fit, motivation, compensation alignment, and availability.
• Manage candidate relationships and maintain a positive, responsive candidate experience throughout the top of the funnel.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to run thorough intake sessions and calibrate on role requirements, must-haves, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Provide market intelligence, talent mapping, and competitor insights to shape hiring strategy and set realistic expectations.
• Act as a talent advisor, guiding hiring teams on sourcing timelines and market availability for niche skill sets.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records, pipeline status, and sourcing activity in the ATS.
• Track and report on sourcing metrics including response rates, conversion, and pipeline health.
• Continuously refine sourcing approaches based on data and feedback to improve efficiency and quality of hire.
