As more launch vehicles come online and the cost to orbit decreases, more companies launching payloads to space continue to emerge. For the first time in history, this influx of payload companies combined with reduced launch costs has resulted in a massive increase in need for commercial spacecraft platforms, known as satellite buses. These buses hold the payloads of our customers and are flown on launch vehicles. About The Role

As a Technical Sourcer at Apex, you will drive top-of-funnel talent identification for the highly specialized engineering and technical roles that power our satellite manufacturing mission. On this six-month contract, you will partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and engineering leadership to build robust pipelines of hard-to-find talent across engineering, production, supply chain, business operations, and more. You will own the sourcing strategy for a portfolio of technical requisitions, using creative outbound approaches to engage passive candidates in a highly competitive aerospace market. This is a hands-on, high-volume role for an experienced sourcer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment and can move quickly without sacrificing candidate quality or experience. This role requires deep technical sourcing expertise combined with the ability to rapidly learn complex aerospace and engineering domains and translate them into compelling, credible candidate outreach.

Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

• Build and maintain robust pipelines of qualified passive and active candidates for technical and engineering roles across Apex.
• Develop and execute creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and x-ray search, GitHub, technical communities, referrals, events, and niche aerospace networks).
