Job summary
Ursa Major Technologies in Colorado is seeking an Engineering Technician to support Manufacturing Engineers and Design Engineers on propulsion hardware. You will help develop and document manufacturing processes, operate additive manufacturing equipment, and assist in process validation on the shop floor and in R&D labs.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience operating production or lab equipment and following procedures.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T basics.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and measurement devices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to develop, validate, and refine manufacturing processes for mechanical and propulsion components.
- Set up, operate, and monitor additive manufacturing equipment for development and production.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on lab and production equipment.
- Create and update work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Collect process data and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Support production builds with materials prep, fixture setup, and in-process inspections.
- Coordinate with quality and manufacturing to report nonconformities and disposition.
- Maintain safe, organized work areas and comply with safety/quality requirements.
