Job summary

AV is seeking a System Test Engineering Intern for its Summer Internship Program in the United States. You will support the developmental and flight testing of small unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and related subsystems, working with experienced engineers on ground, simulation, and flight tests.

This 12-week, onsite internship is designed for college students or recent graduates with a 3.0+ GPA and a strong interest in aerospace systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Interest in aerospace, testing, and flight operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel/MATLAB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and documenting system-level and flight tests for UAVs.
• Prepare test plans, procedures, and test cards to verify performance.
• Participate in test readiness reviews and post-test debriefs.
• Set up test instrumentation and collect data for analysis.
• Collaborate with UAV operators, technicians, and engineers during live tests.
