Job summary

Akkar is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to own technical projects from concept to delivery within the aerospace and defense technology space. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure programs meet specifications, quality standards, and on-time delivery.

You will serve as a key technical interface among engineering, program management, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers, handling systems including satellite communications, RF electronics, and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with experience in complex technical projects.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Structured problem solving and decision making in projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain technical project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate hardware and software development with engineering teams.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical requirements and work packages.
• Manage technical risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Support design reviews, verification/validation, and qualification testing.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation and tests.
• Monitor progress and communicate technical status to stakeholders.
