Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer who thrives in highly technical settings and is passionate about improving product durability, safety, and performance from initial design through field deployment for a long term contract opportunity.

In this role, you will partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and test organizations to identify reliability risks, validate system performance, investigate failures, and drive continuous product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in reliability / product development / test engineering.
• Experience with safety-critical systems in aerospace/defense.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA/FMECA, FTA, Weibull, reliability modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability strategies for product development, production, testing, and deployment.
• Perform reliability assessments to identify failure mechanisms and improve system performance.
• Lead FMEA/FMECA activities and support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Define qualification and reliability test requirements and evaluate results.
• Analyze field, production, and test data to identify trends and drive design changes.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and test teams to improve robustness.
• Support engineering reviews and present findings to stakeholders.
• Drive preventative measures addressing recurring failures to improve long-term reliability.
