Job summary

The Axius Group is seeking a Professional Engineer specializing in Air Systems/Pneumatics to perform systems engineering for aircraft pneumatic systems. The role involves architecture definition, requirements management, supplier coordination, and certification documentation, while supporting test platforms and in-service troubleshooting.

Candidates should have a mechanical or aerospace engineering background with 5–8 years in aerospace, including pneumatic systems and aircraft integration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • 5–8 years of aerospace engineering experience preferred.
  • Experience with pneumatic systems, aircraft integration, requirements development, validation, verification, and certification documents preferred.
  • Experience reviewing supplier docs and coordinating with internal teams and test platforms preferred.
  • Bilingual in French and English required or preferred per program.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a systems engineer for pneumatic discipline in aircraft systems engineering.
  • Define pneumatic system architecture, prepare specifications, conduct modeling and trade studies.
  • Manage requirements, validation, verification, and certification documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal groups; review vendor drawings and test procedures.
  • Support test platforms, both ground and flight tests, and assist in certification activities.
  • Assist production and in-service teams with pneumatic systems issues and design changes.
