Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Rockford, IL seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support aerospace and avionics programs. You will drive end-to-end systems engineering activities including requirements, architecture, verification, and certification throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires close collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to define and manage system requirements, integrate hardware and software, develop verification activities, and support certification

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering for aerospace, avionics, or embedded systems.
• Strong requirements engineering and management capabilities.
• Hands-on with Polarion and/or DOORS for requirements tracking.
• Experience with system architecture, integration, and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Systems Engineering activities including requirements and closure of findings.
• Develop and maintain system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Polarion/DOORS and JIRA tasks across programs.
• Translate customer needs into traceable system-level requirements.
• Serve as System Integrator for avionics solutions and coordinate integration.
• Develop system verification plans, test cases, and verification methods.
• Support system certification activities and ensure evidence is complete.
• Interface with customers to capture requirements and resolve technical issues.
