Job summary

RTX is seeking a systems engineer to support development of aircraft mechanical, electro‑mechanical, and electronic systems, focusing on SC&L (Safety, Cargo, Lighting). You will work with engineers globally and may start on Cargo systems with potential to move across SC&L units.

Role is onsite in multiple U.S. locations including Jamestown, ND, Lenexa, KS, Uniontown, OH, Phoenix, AZ. Requires a U.S. Person/perm resident status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with requirements management and/or developing systems engineering products.
• On-the-job, coursework, or project experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements allocation and interface definition studies.
• Develop verification plans and procedures.
• Review and update documentation and reports.
• Support testing and verification of engineering releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HW/SW, QA, and suppliers.
