Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to lead the technical development and integration of DoD systems. You will drive the lifecycle from concept to test, building and applying interdisciplinary digital models of complex systems.

The role requires strong experience in systems design, integration, testing, and trade studies, with the ability to deliver hardware and software solutions while applying industry knowledge and pursuing rigorous problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with systems design, integration, and testing activities.
• Experience conducting system-level trade studies to balance conflicting requirements.
• Experience delivering complex aerospace hardware from concept to test.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and integration of DoD systems.
• Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models from concept through product lifecycle.
• Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge.
• Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Orchestrate the development of a system of interest, encompassing hardware and software, through its entire life cycle.
