Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to design and oversee the full systems stack, from concepts through verification, across mechanical, electrical, propulsion, and control domains.

You will decompose customer requirements into test specs, manage ICDs, and participate in gated reviews to demonstrate technical readiness. Collaboration and adaptability are essential to succeed in rapid development programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field.
• Experience with aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering on complex systems.
• Demonstrated internship/co-op and hands-on experience showing technical skill and leadership.
• Ability to work independently and in a team on rapid development programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation, integration, and technical services and support
• Work with others to establish and improve processes and procedures
• Projects may include system definition, systems test, system integration, system safety, operations and verification of fluid, mechanical, propulsion, and electrical systems
• Decompose internal customer requirements into test system requirements specifications
• Develop & manage interfaces through requirements and ICDs and drawings
• Lead and present at major gated reviews on system readiness and deliverables
• Own the verification and validation planning, traceability and completion through test plan creation
