Job summary

Real Time Consulting is seeking a Systems Engineer for Aircraft Surveillance Systems in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform system verification for TCAS, TAWS, ADS-B, and transponder systems across ARP4754A and DO-178B lifecycle processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years of safety-critical embedded avionics development, plus experience with DOORS, ClearCase, ClearQuest, MATLAB/Simulink, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science.
• 3+ years system development of safety critical embedded avionics systems.
• Experience developing system test procedures, system test cases and system test scripts.
• Familiar with the ARP-4754A aircraft systems lifecycle.
• Familiar with DOORS for requirements capture and tracing.
• Familiar with ClearCase version control and configuration management system.
• Familiar with ClearQuest for creating and tracking change requests.
• Familiar with MATLAB/Simulink for performing simulations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountable and takes ownership of assigned tasks.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done.

Responsibilities

• Perform system verification activities for aircraft surveillance systems.
