Job summary

Blue Origin invites motivated interns to work directly with our engineering teams on projects across fluid, mechanical, propulsion and electrical systems. You will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and participate in broader organizational events.

We offer housing and relocation support, but interns are responsible for daily transportation to and from their work locations. This is a 15-week, full-time internship in the United States with hourly compensation of $32.00.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation (obtained sophomore standing).
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for Space.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects across fluid, mechanical, propulsion and electrical systems.
• Intern projects may involve aspects of applied systems engineering including system definition, systems test, system integration, requirements verification, system safety, operations and system verification.
• Gain hands on, real-world experience and participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization.
