Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking interns/co-ops to help invent the future of flight. You will gain hands-on experience across aerospace systems, from design and analysis to hands-on testing, with opportunities toward a full-time role after graduation.

Placements consider your major, year, and business needs. You will work on a variety of systems including engine controls, propulsion components, electrical and mechanical subsystems, and data/compute platforms, in a real-world defense/air systems

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (unrounded).
• Enrolled full-time in an engineering program (Mechanical or Aerospace).
• Willingness to work in the United States; sites Dayton, OH and Bohemia, NY.
• Reliable transportation; some sites lack public transport.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing engine controls, navigation, and guidance systems.
• Contribute to gas turbine engine components and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Support vehicle health, data management, and mission/compute platforms.
• Engage in design, analysis, development, testing, and software verifications.
