Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking a Systems Assembly professional for a contract assignment in Kinston, NC. You will perform production assembly on electronic and mechanical subassemblies from diagrams and drawings, using hand and power tools, jigs, and measuring devices, to meet strict quality specifications.

This 3-month assignment includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, plus bonus potential and access via Tier 1 supplier.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in production assembly operations.
• 2 years' minimum experience in aviation production or equivalent.
• Ability to work with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install parts and assemblies.
• Ability to use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

Responsibilities

• Performs production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies; conducts quality inspections.
• Disassembles, rework, tests experimental or prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies as needed.
• Uses precision measuring instruments to accomplish tasks and ensure quality.
