Job summary

RTX is seeking a Supply Chain Planner in Tucson, AZ for hands-on material planning across multiple programs. The role emphasizes accuracy in BOMs, material availability, and coordination with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will improve supply continuity in a dynamic DoD environment.

The position requires an active DoD Secret-level clearance, U.S. citizenship, and strong experience with MRP, SAP, and Kinaxis. Onsite work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree.
• Experience with supply chain, production or planning control, MRP, inventory management, capacity planning, JIT concepts.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirements.
• Create Material Masters.
• Evaluate and status assemblies in progress, material availability, and potential shortages or delays.
• Resolve production problems to ensure needed personnel, equipment, materials, and services.
• Control and analyze Bills of Materials in an MRP system.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
• Propose solutions to mitigate work stoppages due to material order slips.
• Ensure DoD safety compliance and initiatives.
