Job summary

Point Blank Enterprises in Tempe, AZ seeks a Supply Chain Engineer to bridge design engineering, procurement, and suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery of aerospace hardware and materials. You will lead supplier assessments, drive continuous improvement, and mitigate manufacturing risks to support production and scaling programs.

Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing to implement DfM/DFSC, evaluate supplier capability, and negotiate for best value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (ME/AE/Industrial) or related.
• 3+ years of direct aerospace/defense manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and document management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for demand planning and inventory control.
• Experience with RCCA, data analysis, and SPC.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–30% to supplier sites.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person eligible for security clearance.
• Familiarity with DFAR, ITAR, EAR and other aerospace regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier qualification and onboarding for critical aerospace suppliers.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing to implement DfM and DfSC early in product development.
• Evaluate supplier capacity and lead times using KPIs to identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions.
• Negotiate cost and lead time with suppliers to ensure best value.
• Manage supplier deviations, non-conformances, and root-cause investigations per AS9100/ISO9001.
• Travel domestically and internationally to audits and resolve production issues.
