Job summary

OEM Logistics, LLC is seeking a Supplier Specialist to support our aerospace and defense supply chain operations. The role emphasizes supplier partnerships, delivery performance, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer requirements.

The successful candidate will have 5–10 years of manufacturing experience, US citizenship, and the ability to travel locally. A college degree is preferred, with strong analytical and communication skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Five to ten years of manufacturing experience (Aerospace/Defense/Ship Building/Submarine) preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment motor vehicle history check.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a partnership relationship with assigned suppliers and work as a team to meet customer requirements.
• Manage the supplier's Open Order Report with the supplier to minimize risk and identify delivery improvement opportunities.
• Monitor delivery performance trends and perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Facilitate closure of corrective actions in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with sub-tiers to improve communication and establish achievable production commitments.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication and drive actions to prevent delays.
• Provide frequent written updates on mission-critical parts and overall delivery performance.
• Track delivery performance trends and initiate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Periodic local travel is required.
• Other duties as required.
