Job summary

GKN Aerospace seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality through robust processes and metrics, ensuring AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance across the supply chain. You will collaborate with procurement and manufacturing to mitigate risk and deliver high-quality parts for aerospace applications.

Responsibilities include supplier audits, development, FAI support, non-conformance resolution, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering in aerospace/regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001, GD&T, and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality through audits, monitoring, and development.
• Lead FAI reviews and process audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and KPIs with procurement.
• Investigate non-conformances and drive corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5-Whys).
• Support supplier onboarding, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
