Pryer Machine & Tool Company is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure suppliers meet AS9100 and customer requirements. The role manages the Approved Supplier List, conducts on-site audits, and collaborates with buyers, inspectors, and manufacturing to maintain strong supplier performance.

Responsibilities include qualifying suppliers, developing PO quality codes, and driving corrective actions. Occasional travel to supplier sites is expected as part of supplier oversight.

Formación

• Bachelor-level or higher degree not required; Associate degree acceptable with 2+ years in inspection or quality engineering.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality system requirements.
• Experience with supplier audits, process validation, and quality system assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Qualify and approve suppliers, maintain the Approved Supplier List.
• Conduct on-site supplier audits (quality systems, processes, special processes).
• Develop Quality Codes for purchase orders and ensure PO flow-down of requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Manage nonconformances and CARs, including root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
• Support source and receiving inspections and verify documentation and certifications.
• Maintain supplier quality records and support audits with documentation.
