Job summary

RTX is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to uphold quality across the supply base for the APU and TF33 programs, in an onsite role at our US facilities. The successful candidate will guide suppliers, work with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities include leading recalls, conducting root-cause investigations, implementing corrective actions, and developing supplier quality improvement plans and metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or quality.
• Master's degree with 5+ years in similar roles is acceptable.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality management.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to suppliers to meet quality requirements and QMS expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement.
• Train and approve suppliers for self-release and DQR.
• Lead quality process improvements using CORE tools.
• Manage recalls, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop supplier quality improvement plans and metrics.
